Twelfth Sunday after Pentecost - August 15, 2021
Today we consider Jesus’ claim that He is the bread of life and whoever feeds on His flesh and drinks His blood has eternal life. While this may sound mysterious to us, it was downright offensive to those who first heard these words. The way and wisdom of Jesus are often countercultural and counterintuitive, but He alone, has the words of eternal life!
