Faithfulness

In our Scripture Lessons this morning we see examples of Faithfulness.  Ruth (a foreigner) was faithful to Naomi and to God and God provided for her.  Faithfulness to God comes by faith in Jesus and results in fleeing from sin and keeping in step with the Spirit. We cannot be perfectly faithful to God’s Law, nevertheless in love to Christ we strive to pay on the unpayable debt of love to other human beings.
